18 May Cinco de Mayo Celebrations!
TEECS celebrated their first Cinco de Mayo celebration with the help of the middle school and high school students! Students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade enjoyed the presentation of “La Bamba” sung and danced by sixth grade! They also had a chance to see and hear various instruments made out of recycled material used during Cinco de Mayo, recreated by our seventh graders! In addition, the eighth graders recited delicious recipes enjoyed on Cinco de Mayo and our ninth graders revealed the history of Cinco de Mayo through many exciting games and short stories!! It was a fun and informative day!!!
