Proud of our generous TEECS 3rd grade student!
One of our third grade students, Meghna has been recognized in the news for her generosity. Meghna decided for her birthday, in lieu of gifts, she would ask her friends to make a donation to the Franklin Police Department. They obliged and helped her donate $300 towards buying bulletproof vests for the Police. In return, the PD went above and beyond by throwing a party that she will never forget. She was recognized by the Franklin Police Department, the Mayor, the Councilman, the Councilwoman and many others.
Meghna received Community Service Award by TEECS today, Congratulations .
