22 Oct 7th Grade Science Lab with Somerset County Freeholder, Patricia Walsh & President, Somerset County Association of Police Chiefs, William Parenti
On Monday, October 21, 2019, TEECS welcomed special guests, Somerset County Freeholder, Patricia Walsh & President, Somerset County Association of Police Chiefs, William Parenti to the school.
During their visit, Mr. Comella’s 7th-grade science class involved them in a lab experiment about Heating and Cooling. Our students were excited to successfully complete the lab experiment with Ms. Walsh and Mr. Parenti. They all learned a lot and enjoyed the lab.
In addition, our special guests presented some awards. The awards included:
- NJ TOP 2019 NJSLA Test Scored (850) students. These students worked very hard for this achievement and our guests were happy to be part of this recognition.
- TOP Student Fundraisers who sold more than 5 boxes of chocolate during our PTO World’s Finest Chocolate Sale.
- PTO Board for their continued support and successful coordination of the World’s Finest Chocolate fundraiser.
