11 Dec TEECS’ Speech and Debate Club
On Monday, December 9th, TEECS’ Speech and Debate Club had its first Induction Ceremony. Club officers were selected and new members were inducted in to the program. Ms. Mary Gormerly, National Speech and Debate League’s (NJSDL) District Chair and the 2018 National Educator of the Year by the National Speech and Debate Associate (NSDA) was our guest speaker for this event.
This ceremony was held after our team attended the National Princeton Classic Invitational tournament.
At the tournament, Sudip, Ayesha, and Anika participated in Original Oratory Speech. Sarang and Akshat participated in Congressional Debate events.
Sarang and Akshat were both semifinalists in Congressional debate!
We are very excited to have this team of students. We look forward to the future and how far these students will go.
