17 Jan TEECS Division B Science Olympiad
On Tuesday, January 16, 2020, many Science Olympiad teams throughout New Jersey competed at Camden County College in the Camden County Regionals. More than 300 students participated in the event. One-third of the teams qualified to move on to the State Finals on March 10, 2020. At the NJSO, 14 student teams in the top middle schools and 22 student teams in the top high schools from New Jersey competed in more than 20 hands-on mini-competitions referred to as “events.” These events tested skills on a range of subjects from anatomy, machines, crime busters and different kinds of building projects.
The TEECS team will also compete at the upcoming Harvard Invitational Tournament on February 2, 2020, and the NJ State Finals on March 10, 2020.
