On Saturday, January 18th, teams EnergySmart and Fembot competed at the Kent Place School Qualifier. Both teams successfully made it to semi-finals and were even able to secure the position of first place as a part of the winning alliance. In addition to winning first place, team EnergySmart won 2nd and 3rd places in the Motivate, Connect and Control awards. Team EnergySmart advanced to the state tournament in March and is currently working to support team Fembot so they can qualify to states at the league tournament.
