07 Oct TEECS ANNUAL WALK TO SCHOOL EVENT
On Tuesday, October 5th, the Thomas Edison EnergySmart Charter School participated in the National Walk/Bike to School Day.
Students were dropped off by either parents or bus at the Pierce Street entrance to the school by the old Mary Kay lot. Once all the students and staff were gathered, they walked the property back to the school.
TEECS observes this day each year as a reminder to the community and our families that there are alternative forms of transportation other than driving. TEECS believes in the message of this event and the importance of a healthy community and planet.
