01 Nov TEECS Celebrates Halloween
Today, October 31, Thomas Edison EnergySmart Charter School celebrated Halloween with our annual Trunk or Treat event. It was a perfect brisk morning for the students to go outside in their costumes and enjoy the festivities. We had parents there with decorated trunks ready to fill their bags with candy. TEECS provided all parent participants with coffee to keep them warm. To end the celebration, the students gather for a Halloween Costume Contest. The costumes are judged in four categories:
- Best “Green” Costume (made out of recycled materials)
- Most Original/Creative Costume
- Best Superhero Costume
- Best Duo or Group Costume
