What is NJSLA?
NJSLA stands for New Jersey Student Learning Assessment. It is a mandated statewide assessment to determine students’ mastery of New Jersey Student Learning Standards. It is administered electronically. The test is designed to measure the state standards that are guiding instruction in Mathematics, English language arts, and Science. The exam focuses on the skills and knowledge needed in today’s world; these include critical thinking, problem-solving, and reasoning.
