What is NJSLA?

 

NJSLA stands for New Jersey Student Learning Assessment. It is a mandated statewide assessment to determine students’ mastery of New Jersey Student Learning Standards.  It is administered electronically.  The test is designed to measure the state standards that are guiding instruction in Mathematics, English language arts, and Science. The exam focuses on the skills and knowledge needed in today’s world; these include critical thinking, problem-solving, and reasoning.

The following are the TEECS testing dates for grades 3-6:

Fifth grade only:   Science  May 23rd  & May 24th 2022
Third grade to Sixth grade:   ELA & Math  May 23rd to May 27th 2022
Fifth grade only:     Science May 25th to May 27th 2022
Make-ups:     TBA TBA
