Buehler Challenger Trip!

On February 21st, our 8th-grade students took a field trip to the Buehler Challenger & Science Center. The Buehler center provides an unforgettable experience for students learning about space. They engaged in an extremely realistic space flight simulation. Each student applies for and gets assigned a specific job, in either mission control or the space shuttle. Each job is equally important, and all students need to work hard to ensure the safe flight of the shuttle. Students work in teams to complete their mission, while conducting experiments, monitoring life support, and implementing navigation orders. In this dynamic environment, students use principles of science, mathematics, and technology to complete their tasks and solve any emergencies that may arise! We had a great time!
