Thomas Edison EnergySmart Charter School in Somerset marked–the second annual International SEL Day with global communities last Friday.
The event celebrates the importance of social-emotional learning centered around Building Bonds, Reimagining Community. This event coincided with TEECS’ monthly “Green Day”. That day staff and students make an extra effort– to care for the planet. Activities centered around mindful moments; good citizenship; and community service; and the importance of self care. TEECS collected donations for Safe Harbor’s Garden of Hope.
