Thomas Edison EnergySmart Charter School’s (TEECS) Environmental Alliance Club (EAC) Club students had their first outdoor exploration on Umrit Farm located in Hillsborough, Umrit Farm is one of NJ’s sustainable organic farms. TEECS’ students had the opportunity to learn how to make the best compost and get some brown materials to add to the school’s compost bins. The school is in the Somerset section of Franklin Township.
